I’m Cindy Martinez and I’m a native New Yorker; artist, designer and photographer. I have my BFA from The Fashion Institute of Technology and for over 15 years I was an Art Director specializing in communication design and marketing for some of the most prestigious firms in New York.
In 2008 the economic implosion had design firms downsizing and even closing, I found myself in competition with a large pool of design professionals vying for the same positions. I reinvented myself into the healthcare profession; having worked as a Patient Care Representative and as an administrative aide for a prestigious academic organization while pursuing a master’s degree in public health, having graduated in 2023.

Now retired, I rediscovered my love for watercolors and art after I found a watercolor set that I had put away 20 years prior and decided to view a couple of YouTube videos/tutorials and give it another try. Now I have my own YouTube channel (CLMCreative), an Etsy and Michael’s Makerplace shops.

I do landscapes, florals, abstracts, and fur baby portraits
